EDUCATION
As of now in the ESD there are 71 primary and secondary schools and 2 higher education institutions – all belonging to the SDA Church. The biblical worldview is the core for the teaching process in all our schools and the reason all the ESD SDA schools exist. Adventist education has a goal of transforming each student, parents and teachers into the image of God. Having a great impact on the modern society, Adventist education is there to help all students and their parents build a solid foundation for a saving relationship with our Creator and Redeemer.
HEALTH
The ministry of the health ministry's department is aimed at restoring the integrity of a whole person in all its aspects - physical, social, spiritual and mental. These years were especially blessed - the church organization received a government grant to hold Health Exhibitions for adults and children. Activities on the dangers of smoking were actively carried out, health clubs, Nordic walking clubs, cooking classes, various conferences for health professionals and healthy educators were organized every year. A wonderful Medical Center in Kiev began its ministry, every year it increases the range of services for the population. The Better living centers accept guests, where they learned how to change their lifestyle in order to prevent many chronic diseases and feel better. Health food shops and cafes have been open in many territories. The main task of the Health Ministry dpt. of the ESD territory is to make every church a center of influence, a center of hope!
Children's Ministries
"Jesus is drawing the children, and He bids us, Suffer them to come" (E. White, Desire of Ages, p. 517.2)

"God wants every child of tender age to be His child, to be adopted into His family. Young though they may be, the youth may be members of the household of faith… Christ will make them little missionaries" (E. White, Child Guidance, p. 486.2).

The mission of ESD Children's Ministires department is to form in the Adventist Church a view on the younger generation as an important part of the Church and the main group of its potential church members.

We seek to fulfill our mission by:

1. Helping each child to build relationships with Christ as their Savior and Friend.
2. Helping each child to develop their moral, physical and spiritual abilities.

3. Teaching each child how to be helpful in the family, in the church, in the community and to share their faith with people around them.

ADRA in ESD
ADRA at ESD is a dedicated team that makes every effort to help people who are in a difficult life situation. ADRA's main activities occur in the areas of education, health, and disaster relief. In recent years, ADRA has been trying to carry out long-term projects, within the framework of which 3 educational centers, a dental clinic, and a soup kitchen have been established, where elderly, needy people have the opportunity to get hot meals 7 days a week.

The past year was marked by the global COVID-19 pandemic. ADRA did not stand by idly and carried out 10 projects on the territory of the ESD, thanks to which about 430 tons of food aid were distributed. As the result, more than 31500 people have received assistance in difficult times, having lost their jobs and being left without means of support.

At the very beginning of the pandemic, almost all countries faced a shortage of protective masks. ADRA ESD was able to organize the production of masks and thus helped 84 medical and social institutions with personal protective equipment. In total, 86,000 masks were produced and distributed, as well as disinfectants, shoe covers, gloves, antiseptics, and protective suits.

Totally in 2020 ADRA implemented 52 projects and assisted 162,581 individuals
